CPU, Inc. was founded in 1997 and seeks to provide scalable project management methodologies and analysis techniques to business teams and software development initiatives. Small group training is essential to the implementation of these methodologies, and our team is available to conduct seminars at your convenience, and on location with your key resources.

Carolyn Beard, PMP – Owner and Sr. Consultant

Carolyn brings over 25 years experience in the field of Information Technology, encompassing software development, data base design, technical requirements documentation, and system implementations in a variety of industries. Originally from Houston, Carolyn obtained her BA in Math/Computer Science from the University of Houston, and began her career designing and implementing business applications on site at NASA. After three years, Carolyn transferred with “Systems and Programming Resources” consulting group to Denver. She has since maintained a presence in the Denver business community, and various professional organizations.

Mary Brennan, PMP – Project Manager

MMs. Brennan brings over 13 years of Project Management and Program Management experience to the team. Her experience spans the fields of Telecommunications, Healthcare, Manufacturing and Oil and Gas software implementations.

Ms.Brennan brings with her extensive experience with process development and Implementation, while managing teams locally and offshore. She is a self starter and is highly motivated to assist teams and clients with her excellent analytical capabilities, and experience in operations troubleshooting.

Ms. Brennan’s experience coordinating projects, maintaining detailed project schedules, budgets and providing analysis of project and program metrics are the key to her successes.

Leanne Mitchell – Project Manager

Ms. Mitchell brings over 18 years of IT professional experience to her role as Project Manager and Business Analyst. Ms. Mitchell has expertise in all phases of the Software Development and Support lifecycle, including Requirements Engineering, Business Process Analysis, Documentation, Project Estimation, Project Scheduling, Communication and Development.

Ms. Mitchell has 10 years of experience working with multiple aspects of Oil and Gas applications, including finance, production, revenue, JIB, and other interfacing applications. Ms. Mitchell's Project Management Office (PMO) experiences include PMO Methodologies Development, Change Control Processing, Issue Identification, Tracking, and Integration of Process Solutions to meet challenging business needs. Ms. Mitchell received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Regina, Sask, Canada.
